The men football team of Dambai College of Education (DATCO) has won the 2010 volta sector inter-colleges sports Competition football cup by defeating Akatsi College of Education (AKATSICO) by 4:2 in penalties. The cup is going to Dambai up volta north this year however Govco was the former champions who could’nt retain the cup. Well Done, DATCO.

The Ladies football team of Govco has won the final football cup at the Akatsico 2010 inter-colleges sports competition. Govco defeated Akatsico by 3:1 in penalty shoot outs to lift the cup. The ladies soccer team of Govco has qualified for the final match of the ladies competition. The men soccer team was not able to qualify to the finals as they were beaten in the semis by Akatsico the host college.

Govco Qualifies For Semis, Would Play Akatsico: Akatsico 2010 Day 3

The Govco men soccer team has qualified for the soccer semi-finals at the on going inter-colleges sports competition taking place at Akatsi College of Education. It took Govco some luck as they finished the group stage with 2 points and 0 goal difference at par with Ameco which Govco lost to in their previous match. However Ameco got beaten in their last group stage match against DATCO by 2:1 bringing AMECO’s goal difference to -1 and putting Govco ahead to qualify for the semi-finals.
